Maxxxwell Carlisle is a bodybuilder/shred guitarist most notably from the resurrected band Hellion headed up by Ann Boleyn.  Carlisle has also issued a few solo records and has made guest appearances on others.  Visions Of Victory is a compilation of some of Carlisle’s most notable works, and his first release via Killer Metal Records.  If you’re not familiar with Carlisle’s work, this album is a great introduction … he’s a very talented guitarist, which especially shines through in the handful of instrumental tracks on this album.  The others feature a variety of vocalists, and are a bit hit or miss.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
