Revenge is a veteran band out of Colombia, and Harder Than Steel is their latest release. Revenge plays a mix of Traditional Metal (influenced by the likes of Iron Maiden) with down and dirty, wonderfully unpolished Power/Speed Metal. Harder Than Steel is filled with up-tempo tracks that are mildly chaotic, yet solid. Their musical interludes are clearly the band’s strength, offset (unfortunately) by the sub-par vocal abilities and singing style of Esteban Mejia, coupled with shallow lyrics and song titles. Nonetheless, there’s plenty to enjoy within Revenge’s latest offering. If you love it fast and loud, check this one out!

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
