Coming off substantial success with their Dark Adrenaline album in 2012, which got Italy’s Lacuna Coil a seat on Megadeth’s Gigantour tourbus (with notable heavyweights in the Metal scene), the band’s at it again with Broken Crown Halo. Topically, the album was inspired by the deception and dog-eat-dog state of affairs encountered by the band as they climbed the “corporate” ladder. With their mix of female and male vocalists, Lacuna Coil again succeeds in crafting their brand of “Mood” Metal, showing why they legitimately deserve to be included in the “big leagues” of Symphonic Metal… and Metal in general.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
