Zeno Morf is a Norwegian band with a small handful of full-length releases to their credit, with Kingdom Of Ice being their latest offering. Ever since the Danish band Volbeat’s Rock The Rebel/Metal The Devil gained so much popularity for its unique style (especially their vocal approach), many other bands have adopted certain aspects of their style into their own musical soundscape. Zeno Morf, in particular, has a solid Traditional Metal framework, however, they build in a similar vocal style to Volbeat’s Michael Poulsen … and all things considered, it’s not bad. It’s not great either, but worth checking out.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
