House Of Lords (HOL) is most commonly known as the second chamber of the UK Parliament, responsible for making law and challenging the work of the government… it’s also the name of a veteran AOR band out of Los Angeles, California that is set to release their 9th studio album, entitled Precious Metal. HOL is headed up by vocalist James Christian, and the band has received critical acclaim at times throughout its history, but really never earned the popularity it likely deserved. Precious Metal is filled with quality Melodic Hard Rock… nothing mind-blowing, but consistently consistent and enjoyable.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
