Red Dragon Cartel (RDC) is the new band headed by once-famed (but short-lived) Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Jake E. Lee. Joining Lee and Ronnie Mancuso are relative youngsters D.J. Smith (vocalist), and Jonas Fairley (drummer).   Lee brought in a number of guest vocalists, including Robin Zander (Cheap Trick), Paul Di’anno (ex-Iron Maiden), and Maria Brink to name just a few. RDC changes up their style to accommodate the various vocalists, and by and large the diversity works well, giving the album a bit of “soundtrack” feel. Lee’s guitar work shows versatility and ROCKS from beginning to end … a recommended buy.

He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
