Chrome Division is a Norwegian band originally started by Shagrath from the Black Metal band Dimmu Borgir, and the band has a small handful of studio records to their credit, with Infernal Rock Eternal being their latest release. In thinking of Shagrath, the natural assumption would be that Chrome Division plays some derivative of Black, Death, or Theatrical Metal … but that couldn’t be further from reality. Instead, Chrome Division is essentially Norway’s version of Black Label Society – a Hard Rock band with a biker/stoner/doomer mentality – and Infernal Rock Eternal is a solid “tough guy” effort from beginning to end.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
