HALBERD – Ruthless Game

Halberd is a newcomer Russian Thrash Metal band, forming in 2012. Their goal as a band is to propel Traditional Thrash and hold firm to all of its most revered traits: crunching guitars, heavy drumbeats, hefty doses of aggression and anger, and, of course, plenty of melody. In 2013, Halberd issued their first EP entitled Ruthless Game, which includes 4 full length tracks and a track modestly entitled “Intro”. Aside from the vocals leaning a tad more towards evil than angry, the band does a solid job of musically doing exactly what they set out to do. Check them out.
