ALTER BRIDGE – Fortress

USA-bred Alter Bridge has released its 4^th studio album entitled Fortress.  The band plays a unique form of Modern Metal … the main difference between Alter Bridge and the rest of the pack is their appreciation and inclusion of extended musical jams and solos.  After all, most Modern Metal bands tend to keep the music simple and direct while opting to be lyrically intensive.  Myles Kennedy is a talented modern era vocalist, but the band knows when to put him in the back seat to let the dynamics of the album flow, resulting in the band’s best work to date.
