Norway’s Jorn Lande (Masterplan, Ark, & others) is certainly one of the most prolific musicians both by current day standards and in the history of Hard Rock/Metal. Seems he’s either putting out new releases or is involved in a collaborative project of one sort or another several times each year. Traveller is Jorn’s latest solo release containing 10 tracks of Melodic Metal. If you like Jorn’s voice, you’ll be pleased with Traveller, because if anything, there’s no dearth of singing on this release. However, musically Traveller comes through very bland and vanilla – often a byproduct of an artist over-extending himself.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
