Shotgun Revolution is a Danish Melodic Rock/Hard Rock band headed up by guitarist Martin Frank, and Shotgun Revolution is a compilation of the band’s best tracks from their first 2 albums (both released only in Denmark).  Sound-wise, the band comes through as a cross between Mr. Big and early Bon Jovi, but with occasional brashness.  Vocalist Ditlev Ulriksen performs admirably, and invoking the talents of big-time producer Flemming Rasmussen (Metallica) and mastering engineer George Marino (AC/DC, Aerosmith along with many others) served the band well.  If Melodic Rock/Hard Rock whets your musical appetites, then Shotgun Revolution should hit the spot.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
