( votes)The debut from Pagan’s Mind, from Skien, Norway, is by all means worthy a five, but long I thought of giving it only four – simply because there are several things to do to improve. Finally, we have something to brag about here in Norway, in the genre ”a little progressive, but groovy and up-tempo metal with strong melodies”. Personally, I think the band does it best when they play mid-tempo riffs and the vocal is controlled, meaning that the “German” parts of the record are a little too tense, especially vocally. More variation will make the next effort from these boys even stronger, as the potential for a top score is within reach.
