This Friday’s Guest DJ: BROTHERS IN ARMS (JACK FROST)

Jack Frost (Brothers in Arms)

Brothers In Arms is the brainchild of guitarist/composer Jack Frost (Savatage, Seven Witches, Lizzy Borden, etc…), who along with several recruited iconic rock brothers, has made it his mission to prove rock music will never die.  Banding together, Jack & the Brothers forged ahead with one main goal: to make quality music that would both represent and immortalize the days of the sold-out legendary rock venues.

While Jack may have initially instigated this idea, the other musicians involved with this project were immediately on board & ready to go, right from Day One. Brothers In Arms features: Keith St John (Kingdom Come, Montrose), Paul Shortino (Rough Cutt, Quiet Riot), Steve Overland (FM, Overland), Nick Walsh (Moxy, Slik Toxik), Jesse Damon (Silent Rage), Todd Poole (Roxy Blue, Saliva),  vocalist Andrew Freeman (Last In Line, Lynch Mob, Hurricane), drummer Karl Wilcox (Diamond Head), bassist Alex Jansen (Hardline), keyboardist Charlie Calv (Angel), plus special guests Dave Amato (REO Speedwagon) and Mick Mahan (Pat Benatar).

Result of all this is 2021 release of album, titled Sunset and Clark.

Brothers In Arms‘ Jack Frost hosts this week’s show.

Petar is a screener here at Metal Express Radio and makes sure that the new music we play on the radio is pure quality! He's been surrounded by music since birth. Both his parents graduated from music academy and then spent many years teaching in a music-profile high school. Petar himself discovered Rock music when he was a little kid back in the late 80s. His dad had lots of tracks on tapes, including Rainbow (DIO period). Later he and his brother bought some audio cassettes of The Beatles, Queen, Europe, AC/DC, etc. What really made him believe in Rock forever was the Deep Purple's live album Come Hell Or High Water (1994). Nowadays his preferences in Rock/Metal vary from Muddy Waters to Pantera, all the way through any sub genres you might think of.
