Phantoms Of The Past is the debut record from Dream Patrol, an international Hard Rock/Classic Rock band featuring members from USA, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Austria. The name is said to be inspired by the 80s movies A Nightmare On Elm Street, where the victims are murdered in their dreams by a monster. The Dream Patrol is a special combat force intended to protect against that type of threat. Formed by bassist and programmer Ronnie Konig, he recruited drummer Radim Vecera and two laid tracks for the first 3 songs, bringing in guitarist Filip Kolus to record “Dream Patrol”, “Get Back Home” and “Playing With Fire”, which are definitely 3 of the hardest hitting tracks on Phantoms Of The Past.

The record has a great production value.

Sonically it’s crisp, clear, and big sounding. The songs are well written, and the performances are excellent. Powerful vocals and lush harmonies elevate the melodic content to an exceptional level. Fans of Hard Rock and Classic Rock will most certainly dig Phantoms Of The Past. There are some very strong songs on the record, and even a decent mashup, which rarely work. “Tattooed Millionaire From Panama” is exactly what it sounds like. A mashup of Bruce Dickinson’s “Tattooed Millionaire” and Van Halen’s “Panama”. Again, the killer harmonies and great production value make it work. A very solid debut for Dream Patrol.

Red Reign toured with Tesla in 2017, and shared the stage with Dokken, FireHouse, Lita Ford, Kix, Quiet Riot, and others at various dates around the US in 2018. Stevie heard his first KISS record at the age of 6 and was immediately hooked on Rock and Roll guitar. Over the course of years his tastes evolved, graduating from KISS to Ozzy and Van Halen; and then into Hair Metal. Over time, harder and faster music drew him. Bands like Metallica, Pantera, and Anthrax led the way, and Killswitch Engage took him over the top. Stevie has a deep passion for the guitar, not only playing them, but building them as well.
