Fans of doing the exact same thing everyday and thinking it’s cool will enjoy this hopelessly uninspired collection of songs from Sweden’s newest Metalcore-meets-a-shadow-of-Iron Maiden act, Brick. Faceless Strangers includes “From My Hell And Back” and 9 other tracks which are essentially the same song with slightly different lyrics. Textbook Metalcore album production and a handful of excellent guitar solos can’t save this debut release from the halls of mediocrity. It’s hard to imagine that at some point no one in the studio brought up the question as to whether or not this album would contribute anything to the world. Or perhaps that question was asked and the response was, “Yes, and I have this lovely oil painting of two chickens that will make the perfect cover!”

Featuring 9 songs that are all in the same key and tempo and 1 other song that is just okay, Faceless Strangers unfortunately might be enough of a flop to sink Brick long before it has a chance to be laid atop the foundation of Sweden’s Metal legacy.
