Worldview is a band based in the USA, and The Chosen Few is their debut release.  The Worldview band members apparently have a host of musical industry connections as evidenced by the guest musicians who have an iron in the fire, along with Bill Metoyer behind the mixing board (Slayer, Armored Saint, and others).  Overall, Worldview comes across as a Melodic Metal band with Progressive elements.  Although differences exist, Worldview sounds similar to Queensryche, focusing almost entirely on mid-tempo to slow-tempo songs.  The Chosen Few is a good effort, but could’ve benefited from a few more “pick me up” tracks.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
