Axel Rudi Pell is a veteran, well-respected guitarist and songwriter who recently celebrated his 25th anniversary in the business in 2014. To properly commemorate this accomplishment, Axel Rudi Pell played an extended set at the Bang Your Head festival in Germany last summer, and now is releasing a 3-CD set of that event. For fans of Axel Rudi Pell, this CD set is an absolute must … it covers a vast array of his material along with some “choice” covers. For those unfamiliar with Pell, this set may come across as a bit boring, strung out, and lacking requisite energy.
