Dreadful Minds are a Melodic Hard Rock band out of Germany that has been in an on-again, off-again turnstile since inception in the mid-‘90s. Love|Hate|Lies is their 14-track “debut” release, however, 10 of those tracks were put together in some form or fashion in past years through prior demo releases (but that withstanding, all 14 tracks will likely be new to you!). Dreadful Minds demonstrates a “cookie-cutter” approach to their brand of Hard Rock on Love|Hate|Lies, with all songs coming across as melodically “good”, but none being great … making for an overall “vanilla”-sounding release.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
