Space Eater hails from Belgrade, Serbia and has been in play for about a decade. Passing Through The Fire To Molech by title indicates the band isn’t a Progressive outfit (as their name may infer), rather they are an Epic Metal band… Epic Thrash to be precise. Their musical style approach is certainly unique and earns the band “points,” however, the novelty tends to wear thin quickly. Vocalist/guitarist Luka Matkovic seems to be uncertain how he wants to sing, and at best, he provides an average performance, which (along with the substandard production quality) makes for a non-spectacular release.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
