Rubicon Cross is a new band from Chicago, USA formed by vocalist CJ Snare (Firehouse) and guitarist Chris Green (Pride/Furyon) that plays a mixture of Classic Hard Rock and Modern Hard Rock, mixed in with a touch of Doom Metal. Rubicon Cross’ self-titled debut contains 10 quality tracks that are both invigorating yet an easy listen. Snare is a talented vocalist and the band’s decision to invoke the world-renowned talents of Rick Beato to mix and master their end product was a wise decision … Beato does an outstanding job of giving Rubicon Cross’ music power, substance, warmth, and depth.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
