Confess is a new band from Sweden, and Jail is their full-length debut. Confess plays a blend of Metal that combines Melodic and Traditional elements into a Glam/Hair backdrop. Like many Swedish bands, they do a helluva job of it, blending in catchy choruses, huge riffs, and … plenty of FUN!!! Jail is a solid album that shows great potential, and vocalist John Elliot has what it takes to take this band soaring. Jail’s only weakness is the last track; a cover of “What’s Love Got To Do With It” … which should have had no place on this album.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
