EZ Livin’ is a German-American Melodic Hard Rock band formed in 1991, and Firestorm is their latest release. The band’s name, of course, is taken from the classic Uriah Heep track “Easy Livin’,” and Firestorm includes a deliberate cover version of that same track. Overall, the songs on Firestorm are pretty consistent (if not vanilla) Melodic Hard Rock. There’s nothing here that’ll turn you off, but there’s also not a whole lot that’ll completely turn you on both from musical and song structure perspectives. If Melodic Hard Rock is your thing, check out Firestorm … otherwise no harm no foul.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
