Azoria is a new band from Sweden founded by Alex Oriz, better known for his work with bands ReinXeed and Oriz. Azoria pulls several Metal subgenre influences together within Seasons Change. You’ll hear occasional Power, Progressive, and Traditional Metal with this debut, and that variety is further enhanced via the use of 6 guest lead vocalists (for the 9 tracks contained within), including female vocalist extraordinaire Matilda Eriksson, who handles the mic for “When You Sleep.” The album grades out on the high side of average, however, Azoria should look to land a permanent vocalist to solidify the band’s identity.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
