Primal Fear arguably have become Germany’s premiere Traditional Metal band … definitely the most active in the studio and on the touring circuit to be sure. Starting in 1997, Primal Fear have shown true “hunger” in the Metal market, and time and time again have consistently released quality albums. Delivering The Black is no exception, incorporating the Halford-like vocals of Ralf Scheepers and the songwriting acumen of Mat Sinner. This Primal Fear release isn’t perfect, but the band does a great job of meshing a Traditional Metal foundation with enough Power and occasional Progressive Metal to feed any Metalheadz’ appetite.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
