Angels Of Babylon is a Traditional Metal band headed up by Kenny “Rhino” Earl (Manowar fame), credited for both the drumming and vocals, and Thundergod is the band’s sophomore release.  The strength of Angels Of Babylon is certainly their musical approach, which is wonderfully unpolished, straightforward, and heavy.  The guitars come through in a refreshingly uncomplicated fashion with punch and grit, and Rhino’s crisp drumming reminds of Vinnie Appice’s playing style in the early Dio albums.  Bringing the album down several notches, however, are the vocal abilities and juvenile lyrical compositions by Rhino, who regrettably struggles from beginning to end.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
