Vindictiv is a Swedish-based 5-piece headed up by guitarist Stefan Lindholm that has previously been characterized as a Neoclassical/Progressive Metal band. Lars Chriss (best known as the guitarist and leader of Lion’s Share) produced Cage Of Infinity (good oxymoron use there!), to help change the band’s direction into more of a Traditional Metal outfit. Bringing on Chriss was a well-advised move, because Cage Of Infinity is a solid and entertaining, guitar-based album from end to end. Vocalist Marco Sandron’s performance is less stellar than the music, but he holds his own nonetheless, making this an album definitely worth an inquiry.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
