The Yonder Answer is the 2nd full-length album by the Greek band Valor.  Valor’s music is difficult to categorize – they’re labeled an Epic Metal Band, but a mix between Iron Maiden and Denmark’s Volbeat with Power Metal elements may be the best way to describe Valor’s sound.  This release includes guitar and keyboard passages that are truly outstanding … the only drawback is vocalist Vaggelis, whose Bruce Dickinson-ish approach to singing gets muddied by his Greek accent.  However, there’s plenty more that’s good than bad on this release – a solid effort from start to finish that’s worth checking out.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
