Similar to Manowar and other bands that write for the power of Metal, Sweden’s Rocka Rollas stands as a group that knows how to motivate its fans … even if there isn’t a new message hidden behind the lyrics. If you were to call this project a master of clichés, know that you would be totally right. However, whether or not it might be cliché, The War Of Steel Has Begun has the moves, meaningful sound elements, and a rate of performance to inspire your Metal soul. Their well-done music will slide you into the history book of ’80s Metal, with a similar quality that made ’80s Heavy Metal special, whether European or American. The music is no more original than the theme it’s all about, but the youthful spirit and its contortions is something to brag about. Rocka Rollas matches serious loaders such as Judas Priest, Helloween, Malice, Manowar, Running Wild, and others. Speed and Heavy Metal are on the loose in this night full of torches, and they roll on the road of the warrior.

The War Of Steel Has Begun may present a sort of uniqueness, yet it was only channeled through the wonderful sound production and the highly inflamed classic sense of acclaimed playing mastery. The album’s set list includes fast-paced traditional beats and rhythm following the code of true Metal, filled with lead section madness made to eradicate and obliterate with its steel, and a vocal line that is true ’80s oriented.  Recommended are “Heavy Metal Kings”, “Fight For The Loud”, “The Road Warrior”, and “Heavy Metal Machine”.

This album is where ’80s Heavy Metal rules, and no one will defy its command at conquering the world.  Hail and Salute to the followers of True Metal!
