Texas White Trash Industrial Punk band Pitbull Daycare presents their new album along with a bonus DVD, which includes concert footage, interviews, and videos.

It’s a bit hard to grasp what genre PBDC really is, because you can hear everything from Nu-Metal, Classic Metal, Rock ’n’ Roll, Techno, Punk, Rap and Funk on this CD, and maybe that’s why they named it Unclean.

It’s exciting, but at the same time a bit confusing. To like it, you just have to go with the flow and be open for the adrenaline kick of their “hater sound.” If you feel like jumping around and going ballistic with your bros’, then Pitbull Daycare (PBDC) will definitely take you there!

The CD starts off a bit disappointing. The first four songs are a bit too messy and the singer’s (Bishops’) voice is really scary and raw. The backing on top of Bishops’ vocals kind of destroys the sound. It’s not easy to hear at the onset if he has a good voice or not. He basically makes the music sound scary, so there’s no surprise PBDC were picked to play on the soundtrack of Twisted Sisters’ horror movie Saw.

Rapper KRS-ONE guest appears on the title track “Unclean,” who is just one of the many well-known musicians utilized to pep up this CD. Others include Stephen Pearcy of Ratt and Fred Coury of Cinderella. Coury also produces the album.

Pitbull Daycare are known for making weird and funky cover versions of other bands’ songs. On this CD you’ll hear a great punk version of R.E.M’s “It’s the End of the World As We Know It(and I feel fine).” The vocals and pronunciation sound a bit like Johnny Rotten from the Sex Pistols. The second cover tune on Unclean is the Queen classic “Sheer Heart Attack.” Both of these tracks are definitely some of the best on the album.

Another song that you might hear on the radio is “Suffocation.” It’s catchy and certainly very ”in time.”

Despite friends in high places and a long credit list with famous headbangers like AC/DC, Anthrax, and Motorhead, Pitbull Daycare have yet to find their place in this cruel world of Heavy Metal and Rock ’n’ Roll… but beware of the dogs…
