Wild At Heart is a frolic in dirty Rock ‘n’ Roll grit. Pillars of Country and Blues hold these guys high, delivering vibes akin to AC/DC and Maylene And The Sons Of Disaster. A Canadian foursome whose video single went viral a few years ago, The Wild have loaded it all up in a digital truck bed for your listening pleasure.

Chicken-pickin’ guitars, lots of expressive beats on the toms, and a celebratory scream are tools for The Wild. Most tracks are fast grooves, but there is a change of pace with “Run Home”—a mellowed song which slows things down but keeps the soul. Dylan Villain is very expressive on this song. He can vary his voice seamlessly from clean to raspy and draw anyone in. You might have come here looking for a Nicolas Cage film, but this Wild At Heart will entertain you all the same. Check out their Website and cough up an extra five bucks for a signed album. These guys are certainly worth it.

Jude was a reviewer here at Metal Express Radio, living in Taiwan but originally from the great state of Ohio, USA. He first got into music when a fellow weirdo in his catholic high school needed someone to play guitar with. They jammed on some Grunge Rock, but soon he got hooked on the blisteringly-fast shredding of Randy Rhoads and other greats. Later, he bought Metallica's Ride The Lightning as his first album purchase. During that time, his friends and him would end up at local Metal shows. He played in some bands himself as well.
