Lorraine Cross comes from France, and Army Of Shadows is their debut record, which is essentially a tribute to those brave French soldiers who wouldn’t surrender in WWII.  Lorraine Cross is a Traditional Metal band that plays “no frills” Metal.  The majority of their songs are up-tempo (Speed Metal, if you will), with plenty of crunching powerchords, high octane guitar solos, and higher octave vocals.  Overall Army Of Shadows is a good effort, but the band may need another album or two to better blend the lyrics/vocals with the music, and to better handle their own form of controlled chaos.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
