ToxicRose comes from Sweden, and was formed in 2010. The band (kind of) fits into the Glam/Hair Metal subgenre, but more in the vein of WASP than happy-go-lucky bands like Poison.  In fact, based solely on their look, you’d conclude ToxicRose is a Black Metal band a la Dimmu Borgir … however, as the adage says, “you can’t always judge a book by its cover.” Total Tranquility is their debut full-length release, and although there’s Hair in there, it rocks!  You’ll find no tranquility here, rather plenty of attitude and aggression paired with some catchy lyrics and solid song structures.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
