Blizzard Hunter is a Traditional Metal band from Peru, and Heavy Metal To The Vein is their debut full-length release.  These youngsters play it fast and loud, and virtually every track comes across with up-tempo vigor and passion.  Topically, Blizzard Hunter hones in on Manowar-ish themes whereby Metal will rule the world if only Headbangers would unite and believe.  Considering the band members’ ages, Blizzard Hunter should be highly commended for recapturing a solid ‘80s Traditional/Thrash Metal sound – they do it well, and the twin axe-attack of Lucho Sanchez and Tono Rojas crank out many impressive riffs and solos.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
