SACRED BLOOD – Argonautica

Sacred Blood is an Epic Power Metal band from Greece that has been around for over a decade, and Argonautica is their 3^rd full-length release. As with many Epic Metal bands, Sacred Blood opts to create concept albums that revolve around story lines … in this instance, the topic du jour is the battle between Jason and the Argonauts to capture the Golden Fleece. You all know the story, so don’t expect anything mind-expanding, but Sacred Blood does do a good job of folding traditional folk instruments into their brand of Metal. Cheese factor aside, Sacred Blood offers plenty musically.
