Sacred Blood is an Epic Power Metal band from Greece that has been around for over a decade, and Argonautica is their 3rd full-length release. As with many Epic Metal bands, Sacred Blood opts to create concept albums that revolve around story lines … in this instance, the topic du jour is the battle between Jason and the Argonauts to capture the Golden Fleece. You all know the story, so don’t expect anything mind-expanding, but Sacred Blood does do a good job of folding traditional folk instruments into their brand of Metal. Cheese factor aside, Sacred Blood offers plenty musically.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
