Faceshift is 5-piece outfit from Sweden, and All Crumbles Down is their sophomore release. The band plays an enjoyable brand of music that is rooted in Modern Metal and blends in Doom and Progressive Metal elements, showing again what a hotbed of diversified Metal talent exists in Sweden. Vocalist Timo Hovinen performs admirably, folding in some enjoyable lyrics that mesh in well with Faceshift’s sound and song structures. Although sonic differences are certainly apparent vocally, it may be fair to say All Crumbles Down is an enjoyable mix of Soundgarden meets Symphony X. Modern Metal fans should especially take note.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
