Shadowbane hails from Germany and Facing The Fallout is their debut release.  The band essentially plays Epic Power Metal, with their M.O. focused on post-apocalyptic events and survival.  Although their song topics have been hit on every which way by what seems to be countless other bands, Shadowbane offers some powerfully crisp drumming, tastefully intricate guitar riffs, and solid vocals from “Stefan” that are sure to elevate your blood pressure.  Stylistically, Facing The Fallout is a blend between Power Metal stalwarts Iced Earth and Metallium and (aggressive) Traditional Metal veterans Cloven Hoof and Accept.  Shadowbane’s debut is well-produced and impressive.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
