Humbucker is a Norwegian Hard Rock band, and King Of The World is the band’s 3rd release. Humbucker does a good job of establishing simple, tasty riffs and rhythms throughout the album’s 12 tracks, and vocalist Jan Anders Boen fits their sound well with his semi-raspy voice. Song titles such as “One Size Fits All,” “Harder Being Me,” and “I Did It All (Thank You & Goodnight)” pretty much dick-tate what Humbucker’s got on their collective minds. Fans of Big Cock and Steel Panther will likely find plenty to enjoy here … other’s may find the cheap sexual references stale.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
