Ex-Annihilator members Curran Murphy and Robert Falzano, Shatter Messiah founding members from Ohio, USA, are at it again with their 3rd release entitled Hail The New Cross. The band plays Thrash in the true Speed Metal sense that originally gave birth to the genre (think “Fast As A Shark” by Accept). Hail The New Cross contains oodles of energy, impressive guitar work, and catchy/melodic vocals delivered in a similar vein to Bobby “Blitz” Ellsworth from Overkill. There are only 8 tracks (roughly 40 minutes) making up this album, but as is the case with Shatter Messiah, less is indeed more.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
