This Ohio (USA) quintet’s 3rd album actually was released late in 2003. This certainly is old-school Metal, and the guys in the band have without a doubt spent endless hours listening to AC/DC, Whitesnake, and even Van Halen, and the influences within Drawn To The Flame are easy to spot.

Listening to the lyrics makes you either want to headbang proudly, or hold your head in shame, depending on the mood you might be in at the time. With titles like “Heavy,” “Born to Rock,” and “Raising Hell,” one has to wonder if these guys are being entirely serious. Despite the more than questionable song titles and the accompanying lyrics, the impression coming through is that the proud hearts of these men definitely beat to the rhythm of Heavy Metal.

Overall, Drawn To The Flame is a solid Metal album, and extra mention goes to the cool, evil-sounding vocals with a trace of the late Bon Scott in them!
