SUICIDAL TENDENCIES – 13

After numerous claims and promises over the past 13 years, California’s Suicidal Tendencies have finally delivered an all-new studio album, appropriately entitled 13. The band has morphed through a few stylistic changes over the years, with the only original member, vocalist Mike Muir, providing historical continuity. That said, 13’s sound can best be described as Sex Pistols Punk Metal combined with Thrash (played the way The Beastie Boys might sound if they played Thrash). Clearly the band had more than adequate time to write and fine-tune this album, and in the end Suicidal Tendencies’ 13 is a rock solid release.
