Lemmy, Phil Campbell, and Mikkey Dee are at it again with Motorhead’s 21st studio release entitled Aftershock.  As with anything Lemmy-influenced, Aftershock has its moments of pure simplicity and rawness, but this album is more polished production-wise than most (if not all) Motorhead albums.  There are a handful of tracks with a Bluesy tinge to them, and even though the predominant style for the band is Heavy Punk Metal, you can detect that just about all of the rough edges in their music have been smoothed over by producer Cameron Webb.  Good move – bad move?  That’s for you to decide.
