British female-rockers Girlschool have released their 13th studio record entitled Guilty As Sin.  Over the decades, Girlschool has evolved some with the times while making a few valiant attempts to grasp a high level of popularity, but 2015 finds them nestled in a nice mix between Punk, Hair, and Sleaze Metal.

The covers of “Stayin’ Alive” (yes, by the BeeGees) and the 1940’s rebellious song “Everybody Loves (Saturday Night)” get in the way of an otherwise pretty solid and enjoyable (albeit short) album filled with enough grit and scruff to make you think the band is still in their 20’s.
