Frontiers Records from Italy specializes in bringing back old groups from the mid 80s/early 90s, to release new material and hopefully get the old fans to buy their music again. Not all of the ?comebacks? have been successful, but Giant delivers another AOR-classic for the melodic rock-fan!

Aside from pompous opener (a guitar solo Combustion, III is chock full of quality songs and tasty playing. Not all of the original members play on this release, but it definitely sounds like Giant, and front man Dan Huff plays/ sings like the old pro he is. For old fans of the band, I can assure that this is the Giant record we all hoped for. It might be even better than their legendary debut, Last of the runaways from 1989. Time will tell.

If you’re one of the few, newly converted melodic rock-fans, support this excellent band, and buy III.

Highlights: You will be mine, Over you, Love can’t help you now, It’s not the end of the world
