After an 8-year hiatus, Gillan, Glover, Morse, Paice, and Airey are finally back at it with Deep Purple’s latest offering entitled Now What?!  Deep Purple seems to have been around since electric guitars were first invented, and the band has morphed through the decades more times than a lava lamp.  Deep Purple started out in 1968 as a Rock band (progressive?) before becoming the Hard Rock pioneers most have come to know and love.  Although well done and an easy listen, Now What?! shows these veterans returning to Rock band status — this is clearly Gillan’s show from start to finish.
