Jay was a Media Coordinator and Radio Presenter here at Metal Express Radio. Jay is from central Birmingham, UK, not far from his favorite venue the Birmingham NEC. He has been involved in music since falling in love back in 1972 with Hawkind's Silver Machine. Unfortunately, he listened more to the radio as a kid than paying attention to homework. Whilst most teens were supporting the Top 40, Jay was too busy building his collection of Rock albums, mostly on cassettes back then. "I don’t miss the hiss either," Jay says. His first Metal album was Iron Maiden’s Killers, and since then he has worked onstage, off stage and in the studio, as a performer/recording artist.
