Legendary prog metal pioneers Crimson Glory are finally back with their first new album in 26 years, Chasing the Hydra, out April 17 via BraveWords Records. In this in‑depth conversation, guitarist Ben Jackson talks about recapturing the mystique of the first two albums with all‑organic production, introducing new singer Travis Wills and guitarist Mark Borgmeyer, why they wrote the entire record from scratch in the last three years, and why this isn’t a nostalgia trip but the start of a fully committed new chapter for Crimson Glory.
