GOJIRA Show At Parkteatret Venue In Oslo, Norway, Sold Out by: Parkteatret Scene - 2012-10-01 10:22:40 The French Metal band Gojira are popular in Norway, and have sold out the first of their three shows in the land of Vikings. This tour sees the band's triumphant return to Norway after their support gig for Metallica in front of 40.000 people this summer. This time they're performing at a much smaller and more intimate club venue. On October 27th they are playing Parkteatret Scene in the heart of Oslo. Parkteatret Scene is an old cinema from 1907 now functioning mainly as a concert venue with a capacity of 500. The venue is in its original shape, although the stage has undergone a complete rebuild so that it meets the standard of sound reflection in European concert venues. Gojira are currently touring in support of their latest release L'Enfant Sauvage, which was released June 26th through Roadrunner Records. Two more shows are on the tour list for Norway. On October 28th they're playing Ole Bull Scene in Bergen, and on the 29th they're playing Folken in Stavanger.
