Whoa!
After hearing Malmsteen's "Vengeance" of a guitar mag CD I began doing hopeless interpretations of Yngwie licks somewhere between my 12th and 13th year - not that long ago, then - and it just took of from there. After a shorter stints at other zines I was snatched to Metal Express in '03.
Alongside Yngwie Savatage, WASP, Symphony X, Blind Guardian, Emperor, Arch Enemy, In Flames, Opeth, Motörhead, Manowar, and Queensr˙che are a quick list of musical faves (and NO, I've got no friggin' idea why I have been designated to be the Hard/Metalcore guru on board ;P).
Besides writing here I am also guitarist in the Heavy/Prog/Thrash outfit SARPEDON. Everything about the band can be found at MySpace.
